Blizzard just dropped a survey hinting at something players have begged for since Mythic+ was first introduced in Legion: a solo queue system!
While it’s not confirmed yet, the options Blizzard is floating around suggest major changes are being considered for how we form dungeon groups, and for the first time, there’s a real possibility that queuing up without needing to beg, pay, or spreadsheet your way into a key might be on the horizon!
What Blizzard’s Asking Players and Why It Matters
Some players have received a survey directly from Blizzard, asking how interested they’d be in several changes to the Premade Group Finder, and every one of them hints at a smoother, less toxic and more automated Mythic+ experience.
Here are some of the questions:
- Would you want the Group Finder to auto-form your group based on filters you choose?
- Should group leaders get bonus crests and Valorstones for finishing dungeons?
- Should keys be protected from depletion for the first time you lead a group each week?
- Would you like the system to recommend players based on your skill level and goals?
The survey was originally posted by Reddit user DaggersInHand here.

What This Could Mean for Solo Players?
If even a few of the changes mentioned above go live, Mythic+ will become drastically more accessible with faster group forming, more consistent pugs thanks to matchmaking, and less pressure on group leaders.
