Bringing a whole new meaning to the term “big bad”, Dimensius is the final challenge players will be facing not only in patch 11.2, but also in the War Within expansion. The Void Lord that destroyed Karesh, the planet the new patch takes place on, or rather its ruins, is the largest boss in WoW history. Blizzard teased him as being as large as Stormwind, with a nice teaser image to go with it.
We’ve seen what he looks like in-game, also, but now the WoW Instagram account shared some new key concept art for the big guy:

That particular piece doesn’t make him look quite citiy-sized, but perspective is tricky. Here he is in the latest in-game screenshot from the raid, presumably in a more manageable size:

Manaforge: Omega is the raid we’ll be facing him in, and we’ll be bringing along some unlikely allies. Another thing that will be very interesting to see is whether the boss will have a secret Mythic-only phase. We haven’t seen one for a long time now, since the Jailer two expansions ago at the end of Shadowlands. And since the encounter is mostly unknown due to the final boss of a raid never getting tested on the PTR (aside from the actual encounter journal entry), anything is possible!
And, in closing, there’s the classic size tease:

Are you looking forward to facing off against Dimensius?
