World of Warcraft players are already getting their first look at Patch 12.0.5, even before Season 1 of Midnight has officially begun. Among the features currently on the PTR, one reveal has caught plenty of attention: yet another recolor of the 20th Anniversary Tier 2 sets.
This time, however, the classic armor returns with a purple Void-themed twist, designed to match the new Void Assaults event where the sets are obtained.
Coming in Patch 12.0.5, Void Assaults are a new rotating world event where the Void launches attacks on Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman. By taking part in these assaults, players can earn the Void variant of the remastered Tier 2 sets, marking the third color variant released since the anniversary revamp debuted.
