Non-Arcane Mages Fall: Season 2 Week 18 Mythic+ DPS Logs

Starym's Avatar by Starym

Things are very stable once again, but we do see the downfall of Mages not named Arcane, as Fire joins Frost down at the very bottom in all the charts.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, however. It grants only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

95th percentile DPS

We have to go all the way down to No.10 for the first change this week, where Elemental overtakes Affliction and puts the Warlock in a Shaman sandwich. The other big change comes at the bottom of the chart, where the non-Arcane Mages meet up at the very bottom, with Fire dropping five spots to dead last, and Frost one to the penultimate spot.

All Percentiles

We have some earlier changes here, as Feral takes down Marksmanship in 5th. Arms also gets past Enhancement in 8th, bundling the Shamans behind it. Augmentation drops out of the top 10, losing 4 spots in 14th. We once again see the two Mages at the very bottom, as Fire drops even further than in the top percentiles, but manages to avoid the very last spot.

Specific Keys

Windwalker makes it to the very top of 7s, as Havoc also rises and Feral falls. Outlaw makes a move and ends up at the top of 12s, while Fury makes a name for itself in 15s!

Very High Key Raw DPS Numbers

Note: We’re also taking a look at the raw damage numbers from Mythicstats. They take the top runs for extremely high keys (+13-19) from WarcraftLogs and list the overall DPS for the dungeon, which includes non-combat time as well. They’re ranked by the average DPS numbers, with the very top of the top shown next to it.

Arcane and Assassination move one up in the raw DPS charts, both passing Retribution as the Paladin drops two. Elemental and Destruction both spike up into the top 10, moving two and three spots up, respectively. Fire drops into the bottom three here as well, but only by two spots.
