We may have a potential release date for Patch 11.2.7, the final patch of The War Within expansion.
Blizzard recently unveiled that early access to player housing starts on December 2 for players who pre-order the Midnight expansion.
What Can We Expect in Patch 11.2.7?
Patch 11.2.7 is most likely going to wrap up The War Within story with an epilogue and it also adds a preview of player housing, but for full implementation, we’ll need to wait until the Midnight pre-patch goes live.
We should also see Shadowlands Timewalking go live in Patch 11.2.7, according to a new entry present in the Midnight Alpha calendar. Since Midnight won’t launch until 2026, the entry only makes sense for Patch 11.2.7.
A new Turbulent Timeways event will also start on December 2.
That said, we should see the patch live on the PTR very soon. Obviously, most of the content will be encrypted anyways, so we’ll have to wait until December 2 to find out what’s actually happening story-wise in the update.
