This broadcast text is a dialogue between Alleria and Ven’ari about how Xal’atath killed Locus-Walker. Alleria makes an oath on K’aresh to hunt down Xal’atath, which is apparently a “big deal”, according to Ve’nari.

Alleria Windrunner: I… I’m not sure what to say.
Alleria Windrunner: Locus-Walker was my mentor, my comrade, my friend.
Alleria Windrunner: Since I first embraced the power of the Void, he was there helping me to control and understand it.
Alleria Windrunner: He alone supported me when my allies and family pushed me away. He saw what mattered in people, for good or ill.
Alleria Windrunner: He–He was my dearest friend. But when he died…
Alleria Windrunner: His past with the Ravel, the secrets of his ancient fight against Dimensius… I was so angry at him.
Alleria Windrunner: I warned him! I did nothing but warn him about the path we walked down with Xal’atath. He wouldn’t listen.
Alleria Windrunner: She killed him because he trusted her. Because he understood who she really was.
Alleria Windrunner: So this is my oath. I will hunt Xal’atath down. I will find justice for Locus-Walker.
Alleria Windruner: I will prevent her from becoming the new All-Devouring.
Ve’nari: Alleria, to make an oath on K’aresh is no small thing. Are you prepared to take on such a vendetta?
Alleria Windrunner: I am. I have seen the lengths you have gone to to fulfill your oaths.
Alleria Windrunner: I will avenge my friend for all the good he has done in his long life. Even as I struggle to understand and forgive his evil.
Ve’nari: Then we wish all fortune on your hunt, Alleria Windrunner.
Hints of Locus-Walker’s Death in the Patch 11.2 Launch Trailer
Blizzard has released a launch trailer for Ghosts of K’aresh that contains very interesting story bits in no particular order.
At 23 seconds in, we see a wounded Alleria and Locus-Walker leave a portal.
About 40 seconds into the trailer, we see Alleria catch the burning wrappings of Locus-Walker.
At 1:09, Alleria stands up and tries to attack Xal’atath…
However, her attempt is futile and Xal just disappears…
Who would’ve guessed that Xal would betray us again?
