There’s a new Play With the Blues event coming for the new expansion release! And it’s only a week away!
Blizzard developers will be joining players in testing the Midnight pre-launch event in the Twilight Highlands on Monday, November 17th, on the Public Test Realm. Players will be getting a new questline in the faction capitals, ending with the event in the Highlands.
So if you’re not trying things out on the Beta that’s live now, you can check out your class changes next week, starting at 14:00 EST, 20:00 CET, and lasting two hours, not to mention the actual event itself!
This Monday, November 17, please join members of the World of Warcraft development team in the Twilight Highlands on the “Midnight Prelaunch Event” realm to playtest the upcoming Midnight pre-launch event, where we’ll learn more about the Twilight’s Blade with the help of Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath.
The experience will begin with the quest “The Cult Within” in Stormwind if you’re Alliance or in Orgrimmar if you’re Horde, and will eventually lead all players to the Twilight Highlands in the Eastern Kingdoms. The event in the Twilight Highlands has a rapid cadence, and should appear in the Event tracker, which you can view by opening your Map and clicking on the Events tab that appears when the map is minimized. (Default Hotkey: M)

- Start: 11:00 PST (14:00 EST, 20:00 CET)
- End: 13:00 PST (16:00 EST, 22:00 CET)
- Realm: Midnight Prelaunch Event
- The realm will become available when the event begins and will remain open after the event ends for a short period of time for those who still want to test out the pre-launch event.
- Requirements: Copy a character from the live servers to participate in the test.
