Blizzard just announced that early access to player housing is available on the 11.2.7 beginning today through Friday, October 17.
We’re running a limited-time test beginning today through Friday, October 17 of the new Housing feature on the 11.2.7 Public Test Realm (PTR) for anyone who wants to participate. You won’t need to have Midnight on your account to take part, however. It’s important to note that this test is for an in-progress feature and we may either periodically take down this test or cancel it at any point in time as necessary.

Given that the testing is on short notice, some players asked if there are no plans to extend it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, according to the response by Liinxy.
At the moment there are no plans to extend this specific test. But if we feel we need more testing done, we’ll be sure to provide an update with the details.

How to Join the Testing?
Launch Battle.net and from the Game Catalog, select the 11.2.7 PTR option, download the client and you’re good to go! There’s no need to pre-purchase Midnight to join the test!
