WoW Players Found a Free Way to Practice Midnight Raids Before They Go Live

Season 1 of Midnight will start next week, and players are preparing to learn the fights in the first three raids of Midnight: The Dreamrift, the Voidspire, and March on Quel’Danas.

If you’re looking to brush up on these raid fights, a new Steam game allows you to train for most of the fights in Midnight Season 1 on a safe environment! You can download it for free below:

This Game Shows Raid Fights With Tips in Real Time

Vellum: Raid Night Study Hall offers you a chance to fight bosses that mimic the abilities of most Midnight Season 1 raid bosses! The game lands you in an arena where you can fight a selection of bosses:

  • General Aversion: Imperator Averzian
  • The Volorax: Vorasius
  • Former Hegemonarch Sal: Fallen-King Salhadaar
  • Prequel & Sequel: Vaelgor & Ezzorak
  • The Light-Enthused Fanbase: Lightblinded Vanguard
  • Combineron, the Unkempt Fraud: Chimaerus the Undreamt God
  • Bigol’Hen: Belo’ren, Child of Al’ar

*Note: The Crown of the Cosmos and Midnight Falls encounters were not tested on the Midnight Beta, so they are not available for playing at the time of writing.

On each boss page in the selection book, you get a preview of its abilities and what to do in the fight.

Once you select a fight and step into the center of the arena, the fight will start. Your character has a couple of basic abilities: A resource builder, a resource spender, an AOE ultimate, and a dash. Using these abilities, you need to defeat each fight. As the fight progresses, you will receive real-time prompts on what to do, teaching you how the fight unfolds.

This is definitely one of the most fun ways of studying raid fights in a safe environment. Will you download this game and try it out?
