Players have been reporting getting their 
Alunira mount farms done in the last few days, after a complaint post resulted in some very handy tips from the community!
The Mount
The mount has been around since the very start of the expansion. However, there are still plenty of players who aren’t even close to getting it. “All” you need to do is get 10 
Crackling Shards and then use the 
Storm Vessel they turn into to make the mob attackable. The mob will then drop the mount, but only for the player who used the vessel on it. Any enemy on the Isle of Dorn (and Delves there) can drop a shard. There’s pretty standard farms as well, like just going at the elite wolves and bees. But that can take a while.
Complain and Get Things Done!
A player recently complained about the shard rarity in a thread on the WoW Reddit.
Usually with complaint threads, they either get upvoted quite a bit or downvoted, depending on how popular the sentiment is and that’a pretty much it. With this one it seems pretty popular, with 1,7k upvotes. But there were also a few players throwing out some very helpful tips on how to get the mount farm done!
The mobs referred to are Springbubble and Sandres the Relicbearer. You don’t want to grab the one on the left as it’s at the bottom of a pit.
It’s still a pretty long grind, with players reporting needing 13+ hours to get it done. But that’s still quite a bit faster than the measly few shards since the start of the expansion we all probably have. Another very good point is to check your alts that played any amount of time in the Isle of Dorn. The shards are account-bound, so you can send them over to one character and combine them there.
Results
The thread seems to have already helped plenty of players get their mount!
So if you’re constantly finding one or two Crackling Shards in your inventory and just want to get rid of them (and get an awesome mount along the way) try the above spots out (and check your alts)!
