In today’s massive Legion Remix hotfixes, it seems Blizzard added a little something extra! They did announce Legion Assaults were going to show up much faster, but they didn’t mention you’d also be able to enter them faster!
Basically Solo Queue
Spotted by Majestic_Habit5726, the Bronze hotfix removed the wait time for three players to form a group. Queue times have been slashed, as many players report getting in almost immediately when queueing up. Before the hotfix, it could take quite a while to get three players together. Especially so if you were playing on off-hours. While the system basically works as if you’re solo queuing, you can still get paired up with other players if enough are in the queue at the same time as you, as players also reported still getting other players in their Assaults after the hotfix.
The need for more players was always fairly moot, as player power was irrelevant in both Remix and retail. And speaking of retail, it’s a little unclear whether this only affects Remix or if regular servers also got the hotfix. If they didn’t, hopefully Blizzard add the feature to retail as well when Remix ends. Even moreso as the Assault-specific weapons do not drop in Remix and do on retail.
