Blizzard have announced some enhancements to experience gained by Endeavor tasks. There will be “a lot more” progress gained from tasks for the first Endeavor. This replaces the XP reduction initially planned as it ran into some issues. The change arrives in a few hours with the EU maintenance, and in an off-peak time restart for US realms.

We’d like to share a couple of updates regarding the upcoming endeavor changes:
During testing, we identified an issue with the planned adjustment to reduce the XP required to complete the first endeavor to 400 XP. Instead for this first endeavor, we are making it so that tasks now grant a lot more progress towards the endeavor bar per completion.
All the endeavor updates will take effect with the next restart:
- EU and Asia realms: During this week’s weekly restarts.
- US realms: During an off-peak restart tonight.
