War Within Season 3 isn’t even live yet, but one player has already maxed out Brann to level 100. Sounds impressive… until you hear more about the grind!
Reddit user claptrapp117 decided to grind Brann’s levels after running 8 delves on each of their 6 characters. With Patch 11.2 raising Brann’s cap to 100, they figured, “Why not push it now?”

Overcoming the Problem and Weird Bugs
The only problem? Brann’s actual power this week is still capped at 70/90, meaning the grind doesn’t even give him full power yet.
And to make it even stranger, there’s no achievement for hitting level 100. Whether that’s a bug and we’ll see the achievements next week when the new season starts remains to be seen.
The Fastest Way to Max Brann
In the Reddit thread, the player shared their steps to grind Brann’s level to the new cap.
- The player repeatedly entered Nightfall Sanctum and Fungal Folly in the search for flickergates that grant Brann XP. They chose these two particular delves because it’s easy to spot the flickergates from the entrance.
- The player used a DH Tank to quickly run to the flickergates and leave the delve via this macro: They used the following macro to quickly leave delves upon clicking on the flickergates: /run C_PartyInfo.DelveTeleportOut()
Crunching the Numbers
Reddit user Naggash crunched the numbers. You need around 3.6 million XP to hit level 100. Each flickergate is worth around 32K XP in Tier 11, sometimes, you can spawn 2 for 64K. On average, you’re gonna hit around 45K XP, which translates into roughly 80 delve runs.
Why This Even Matters
The fact that someone capped Brann before the season even begins sure raises some eyebrows: is that intended or just an oversight from Blizzard?
