The addon apocalypse is here today! Well, for NA players anyway, but it’s coming for us EU folks as well. Midnight’s pre-patch will bring in all the new limitations, with the biggest change in the addon world being the discontinuation of WeakAuras. This will leave many players scrambling for new options, and luckily, one community member is here to help!
30+ Addons? That’s Way Too Few!
Broccoliz, aka yeslikeagirl on X, compiled a very helpful list of updated and working addons for the addoncalypse. And they’re handily sorted into individual categories as well! From all-in-one UIs to unit frames and nameplates, raid utility, non-combat QoL and more, this list should cover you for the start of the pre-patch at least as you get your bearings.
Not everything is definitely ready for the pre-patch, with a few questionable entries on the list. You can grab all the addons over at CurseForge.
There’s also a Reddit thread on the matter. So if you need more addon suggestions and advice, you can head over there. There’s a pretty good tip in there from robot-raccoon, which I have to agree with. It’s to at least try out the new upgrades of the base UI coming with the patch. It most likely won’t give most players what they need, but as you play around with it, you’ll see what gaps you need addons to fix.
Also, don’t forget to disable or even just remove your current addons, as they’ll all be pretty exploded in the next 1-2 days!
