The Easiest DH PvP Build Ever? How This Brain-Off Havoc Setup Hit 2100 Rating

Starym's Avatar by Starym

PvP isn’t for everyone, so this player wanted to create an easy off-meta build that works for everyone – without even using much of your brain.

WorldofOneshots has been experimenting with a bit of a different Havoc Demon Hunter build. It’s so simple, it feels like trolling – but it actually works. They hit 2100 CR in Solo Shuffle using a passive AoE pressure setup they call The Burning Flame Build.

What Makes It Different?

The build revolves around passive damage sources like Immolation Aura iconImmolation Aura and Burning Wound iconBurning Wound, meaning you don’t need to rely on complex burst windows or precise cooldown management. You apply constant pressure just by staying near your enemies, making it incredibly easy to maintain uptime. It’s fully viable across all PvP formats, in Solo Shuffle, 2v2, 3v3, or even Blitz Battlegrounds.

Who Is This Build For?

  • Players who want solid results without sweating every global
  • Havoc DH mains who are bored of the current meta
  • Anyone who enjoys watching enemies slowly melt instead of explode

Build & Rotation

Some talents are flexible, but a few are mandatory (noted in the video below). PvP talents can be swapped depending on comp, but the core of the build is all about Immolation Aura uptime and Burning Wound spreading. If you’re tired of sweaty meta builds and want something that performs with minimal brain activity, give this one a try.

Simple Rotation:

  1. Generate Fury: Sigil of Flame iconSigil of Flame, Felblade iconFelblade, Immolation Aura iconImmolation Aura
  2. Throw Glaive iconThrow Glaive to apply the debuff (+40% Aura damage)
  3. Metamorphosis iconMetamorphosis, pop your trinket, and overlap Immolation Aura iconImmolation Aura (procs possible)

Good luck on your now very chill PvP adventures!
