The Meta Stabilizes: Tank and Healer M+ and Raid Logs, Week 6

Starym's Avatar by Starym

We have a very stable few charts to check out today, as the Protections rule Mythic+, only half of them dominate raids, and Guardian is on its way down. Way down.

Mythic+ Dungeons

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point

Tanks, All Percentiles

Not only are Protection specs on top of M+ and the raid, the Paladin and Warrior are almost identical in the dungeons as well! The pink spec comes out on top, with some slightly better performance in the mid to high percentiles. Blood makes a move and takes Guardian down, moving out of the last spot.

Healers, All Percentiles

Druids are making some headway into Shaman’s lead, but the extremely popular blue Restoration remains on top. The entire list remains exactly the same as last week, with the top two specs pulling a little away from the rest.

Manaforge: Omega Raid, Mythic

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Tank DPS, All Percentiles

In the most irrelevant chart, Prot Warrior drops a little, but keeps its huge lead. Guardian drops even more here, a big two spots and lands in last place, replacing Prot Paladin, which is doing a lot worse than in the dungeons. But again, this is just tank damage, so not that relevant.

Healer HPS, All Percentiles

Mistweavery is very quickly closing the gap to Preservation at the very top, so we might be seeing a new No.1 soon. The rest remains the same, with the Restorations gathering in the middle of the pack and Disc at the bottom.
