The Turbo Boost seems to have very much boosted the top two group compositions, as they cannibalize the rest! Retribution somehow keeps rising even further, looking at that 10% of all specs played marker and salivating. Let’s dive in.

The data used in this article comes from Raider.IO, taking into account all Mythic+ runs across all levels of play. The data is focused on this past reset and not on the season as a whole.
The Most Popular Specs in Mythic+
Retribution is somehow STILL rising, showing no signs of stopping, especially after the recent buffs and better performance. The single spec is now 8.6% of all specs, grabbing another 0.4% since last week. Vengeance is solidly in 2nd, dropping 0.3, with Discipline completing the trinity with only 0.1 down. We still see a healer in 4th, as Resto Shamans stay stable at 5.5%. Augmentation didn’t move up anymore since it’s little surge, remaining at 0.5%.

Group Composition Popularity
It seems Turbo Week has pushed the main meta composition through the roof! We’ve been seeing the Vengeance/Disc/Unholy/Balance/Arcane combo drop slowly over the past few weeks, but now it’s regained all that ground and then some! Surging up to 26%, it’s siphoning off a whole lot of other comps, and it’s not the only one. The second most popular group, replacing the Unholy with Retribution, also gained a little ground, almost 1%, in fact. The rest shrink in response, as it’s very much a 2-horse race at the moment.
