You’re walking through Orgrimmar, minding your own business, when you spot someone who literally makes you stop in your tracks: a player mounted on the Black Qiraji Battle Tank iconBlack Qiraji Battle Tank with a Full Tier 3 set wielding the now-removed Corrupted Ashbringer iconCorrupted Ashbringer! Wait… WHAT?

Reddit user naturzaros shared a screenshot that’s got veterans drooling while most new folks are just left scratching their heads. For anyone who’s been around, this isn’t just another char, it’s the ultimate flex in WoW!

Why Every Veteran Instantly Recognizes This Flex

To most people, it’s just someone riding a big bug with a cool sword, but for any Veteran, this setup is the ultimate collection of achievements!

Let’s break it down!

  • The player is riding a Black Qiraji Battle Tank iconBlack Qiraji Battle Tank, which means they have the Scarab Lord title and opened the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj during Vanilla WoW. This is the only AQ mount that works outside of the raid!
  • The player is wearing a full Tier 3 armor set. It’s technically still possible to get it from the Black Auction House these days, but it will cost you a lot of gold and time.
  • Finally, the player’s wielding a Corrupted Ashbringer iconCorrupted Ashbringer. This sword had a very low drop chance from the Horsemen in original Naxxramas before it was completely removed from the game when Blizzard moved Naxxramas to Northrend in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion!

That’s one way to show how long you’ve been around in the game!

How to Push the Flex Even Further

Someone in the comments section said that the only thing that could push this flex to Mythic status is Contest Winner's Tabard iconContest Winner’s Tabard, a tabard so rare it was given to the players on each server with the most honorable kills before the introduction of the original Honor system!

It’s moments like these that remind us how far the game, and its players, have come!
