Blizzard is bringing back the Winds of Mysterious Fortune Event in Patch 11.1.7!
Blizzard today released a new 11.1.7 PTR build, and we’ve noticed a new entry in the holiday database table for Winds of Mysterious Fortune, with a start date of July 17, 2025, and based on the entry, the event should last for 28 days.
What’s Winds of Mysterious Fortune?
During the event, the 
Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff is active, greatly boosting your XP and reputation gains, as well as giving you a chance to loot Mysterious Satchels from enemies.
- +20% XP gains for characters between levels 10 and 80.
- +200% Dragonflight reputation gains.
- +100% The War Within reputation gains.
- Mysterious Satchels: Quests and enemy kills in Dragon Isles and Khaz Algar have a chance to drop these satchels, which contain gear, cosmetics, and combat and XP potions.
The event ended on live servers on May 20, but thanks to its popularity, Blizzard is bringing it back soon!
