Class Popularity at Max Level
The latest data from Data for Azeroth reveals the current class distribution at max level across all players. Here’s how each class stacks up:
- Paladin – 12.3%
- Druid – 10.7%
- Hunter – 9.7%
- Shaman – 8.6%
- Warrior – 8.3%
- Priest – 7.7%
- Mage – 7.6%
- Death Knight – 7.4%
- Demon Hunter – 7.2%
- Warlock – 6.5%
- Monk – 6.0%
- Rogue – 4.4%
- Evoker – 3.5%

Analysis
Paladins are the most represented class, siting at 12.3% of all max-level characters. Druids follow closely at 10.7%, just 1.6% behind Paladins. Hunters take the third spot with 9.7% representation. Shamans come in at 8.6%, just ahead of Warriors who sit at 8.3% behind Shamans. Priest lands at 7.7%, barely ahead of Mages at 7.6%.
Death Knights make up 7.4% of the max-level population with Demon Hunters just behind at 7.2%. Warlocks hold 6.5% while Monks are at 6.0%.
At the bottom, we’ve got Rogues with just 4.4% and Evokers sitting at 3.5%, as the least played class at max level!
