WoW players dream of seeing the Reins of the Azure Drake in their mailbox, but for Mage player “Gnollridge,” it turned into an absurd reality: four drops on a single character, all in just a few weeks. And here’s the best part: tey already had the mount learned…
If you’ve ever joked about “mount luck” or cursed The Postmaster, this is the story for you!
When RNG Goes Nuclear…or Something Breaks!
Most of us run Eye of Eternity for months (or years) without ever seeing the Reins of the Azure Drake. Not Gnollridge. The player post a screenshot on reddit showing their Mage’s mailbox loaded with 3 Azure Drakes (timers at 29, 22, and 8 days left), plus a fourth mount sitting in their bags. All legit drops! The Postmaster clearly got tired of seeing this mount by week 3.
“My mage loot is broken. Four Azure Drakes in a row, only on the mage. What are the odds?” joked Reddit user HarlinJenkins.
I think my Mage loot was broken

Is This Just Insane Luck or Something Else?
The mount is notorious for its low drop rate, around 2% from Malygos. Seeing it four weeks in a row, on a single character, is enough to make even the most jaded mount collector raise an eyebrow. Did Blizzard accidentally increase the drop rate for some classes? Or did Gnollridge just become the chosen one in the weirdest possible way?
