Have you ever looked at a transmog and thought, “Okay, that’s pretty cool… but what if it whispered eldritch secrets into my brain?” Well, Kawlinx answered that question with what might be the cleanest Xal’atath-inspired mog to date. A full-blown void parade, from race to outfit, the Harbinger look is definitely pulled off!
If Xal’atath herself were to step into Goldshire (yes, the screenshots were taken right outside the inn – don’t ask), this is probably what she’d be rocking. Also, as you can imagine, the discussion in the thread below is very much focused on the feet slot.
The Xal’atath Set
To start things off, you just have to be a Void Elf, since any other race doesn’t make any sense, and you have to play Monk for this set. Also, not noted below and probably the key to the whole transmog is the Ky’veza Delve Nemesis toy, Etheric Victory. It’s the one creating the void effect on the ground.
Head: Hidden
Shoulder: Demonic Gladiator’s Ironskin Spaulders
Back: Soulbinder’s Nethermantle
Chest: Tunic of Unwavering Devotion
Waist: Voidstrider’s Belt
Legs: Astral Aspirant’s Leather Breeches
Feet: Glacier Walkers
Wrist: Crystalline Tender’s Wristbands
Hands: Sandy Quotidian Handcovers
Main Hand: Voidcore Greatstaff
One note I’d have is that the shoulder slot could be closer with the Mythic Priest Manaforge set, the Dying Star’s Pyrelights. But that’s just for the extra-fancy void orbs and you’d lose all the Monk-specific stuff above. And of course, if you want the transmog to actually whisper to you, grab
Xal’atath, Blade of the Black Empire, but then you really do need to be a Priest!
So, if you’re trying to scare other players with a powerful Void entity who also happens to look great, this is the way to do it.
