Tips for Soloing Mythic Sepulcher During the Collector’s Bounty Event

Stan's Avatar by Stan

The Collector’s Bounty Event is under way and players are farming old raids like crazy. Some raids, however, are more difficult to solo. For example, Mythic Sepulcher of the First Ones can be a real pain if you don’t know what you’re doing. In this post, I’m going to post some tips to make your grind for Zereth Overseer iconZereth Overseer less painful.

This mount drops from Mythic Jailer.

How to Reach the Sepulcher Raid?

If you’ve unlocked Zereth Mortis, start in the Orgrimmar or Stormwind Portal room, and take the portal to Oribos. Go to the center of Oribos and enter the teleporter to reach the second floor. There, you should see a holy gateway that will take you to Zereth Mortis.

If you didn’t unlock the zone yet, go to Oribos and pick up Call of the Primus, and finish the intro questline, which takes around 20 minutes. Once you are in the zone you can reach the teleporter fairly easily.

Raid Boss Difficulty

All bosses are fairly easy up to Skolex and you can ignore most of the mechanics on Mythic difficulty.

Halondrus

At 80% and 50%, Halondrus will start walking to a destined area. While he’s on his way, nuke him as much as you can. During this time, he will cast a nasty knockback that deals a lot of damage, be prepared for that and don’t stand near edges.

Prototype Pantheon

The bosses are fairly easy to solo, but there’s one thing you need to know. All of them need to die at the same time. When 1 boss dies, they will start casting a 20-second cast that will reset them to full health if the other bosses are not killed within that 20-second timer. Therefore, it is crucial to bring all the bosses to around the same health when they enter the arena.

Lihuvim

Lihuvim is relatively easy, nuke him down until adds spawn, focus on the adds and then just kill him.

Anduin

If you engage Anduin you’ll notice he has quite a lot of health. Don’t stand in his shadow puddle because you’re going to die. When he’s low at health, adds will spawn that you should prioritize before taking him down.

Rygelon

This boss is a faceroll, you can ignore all of the mechanics, just focus on DPSing him down before the damage overwhelms you.

Lords of the Dread

The dreadlord duo was easy as well, just make sure to bring down the add whenever it replenishes health.

The Jailer

During this boss, you need to keep two things in mind. Don’t fall into those honeycomb-shaped holes on the ground and do not get mind-controlled! Otherwise, the encounter will reset and the boss will despawn. During some of the attempts, the MC occurred earlier before the pillars would spawn. This is apparently a DPS issue. You need to burn him down quickly to make the pillars spawn and be ready to hide behind them when he casts Relentless Domination. You should only need to do this once per fight if you’re DPSing him down fast enough.

The whole raid was soloed with an Item level 640 Havoc DH, so it’s not too difficult.
