There’s a lot of catchup in 11.2, if Veteran track gear is good enough for you (or, more realistically, your alts). Players have spotted two very easy sources of gear, so if you’re in the market for 668 1/8 Veteran items, read on!
Nightfall and Horrific Visions
First off there’s the do-nothing-just-buy option, but you’ll need some Horrific Visions currency for that, and a 5-mask clear from last season. Minimaxir spotted some solid alt items over at the Horrific Visions vendors. The 5-mask clear vendors have the 668 1/8 veteran weapons, while non-5-maks will get you Explorer and Adventurer gear. So if you have some leftover Displaced Corrupted Mementos, get some alt weapons!
The second option isn’t quite as direct as just walking up and buying a weapon, but it does offer the gear to any character.
The Nightfall scenario in Hallowfall is up every hour and also offers Veteran gear. While the regular rewards only go up to Adventurer track with 655s on the vendors, there’s two ways to get Veteran gear. The weekly reward and the 100% completion reward offer 668 items, also spotted by minimaxir!
