Using Alts Makes Midnight Pre-Patch Transmog 50% Cheaper

The Midnight Pre-Patch event started this week on live servers offering new collectibles and catch-up gear, but one player found a way to get transmogs at a steep discount: use a low-level character.

Mezzy posted about this on X, capturing a screenshot of the reduced costs.

The gear is sold for 20 Twilight's Blade Insignia iconTwilight’s Blade Insignia after recent hotfixes, but gear sold from the event only costs 10 Twilight's Blade Insignia iconTwilight’s Blade Insignia if you’re using a low-level character. Using low-level characters gives you a 50 per cent discount!

This discount will be a massive boost for collectors. Players need hundreds of Twilight's Blade Insignia iconTwilight’s Blade Insignia to fully collect every new reward. Earning them can be a grind, and Blizzard increased the drop rate to help speed up the process.

This gear also has a chance to randomly drop chance when killing rares. Gathering the insignias now and waiting to see what transmogs you have when you’re down can save you even more!

Twilight's Blade Insignia iconTwilight’s Blade Insignia are warbound transferable too. If you’ve been doing the pre-patch on a level 80, you can still take advantage by transferring them to another character.

Two Feats of Strength to Collect

Two Minutes to Midnight iconTwo Minutes to Midnight is a new Feat of Strength that will earn you the Light-Forged Mechsuit iconLight-Forged Mechsuit, and requires killing every rare.
