Midnight is basically here for everyone, and there’s one addon you will want to get if you’re looking to get to that new level cap and finish the campaign fast and easy!
Follow the Arrow – Pretty Self-Explanatory
Harldan, one of the best WoW leveling speedrunners of all time, has created an addon to combine all of his knowledge into one very simple and direct leveling experience. Follow the Arrow is the combination of all his guides in a very direct addon. It simply tells you where to go and what to do, with a big arrow! Unlike some other leveling addons, this one is completely free and without any premium sections or similar. This is a very new addon and is still being worked on. So, for now, only the Midnight campaign 80-90 is available. Alt leveling and even 1-80 will come a little bit later.
When it comes to the addon itself, well, it is what it claims to be. An arrow will simply point you in the direction of the next step in your journey! There’s also an addon window listing everything that needs to be done at your current stage (which quests to grab etc.), with a minimalist approach. This means it will only show you what you absolutely need to know in order to finish your current quest/campaign stage.
As Harldan himself says, the addon is everything he wished he could do with his video and written guides, except much better, more accessible and direct. Quests have custom notes if needed for specific things you need to do. Delves and dungeons are tricky, so the arrow will only get you to them and point to the end inside. There’s even images for solving puzzles in quests!

- As the name implies, each quest has an optimized arrow path which will take you along the fastest traveling salesman path for every quest in the game.
- The main window cleanly organizes all of your current objectives, and I’ve included detailed notes on anything important that you should watch out for.
- All recommended Hearthstone setting and usage locations have been marked down throughout the route.
- Certain quests include embedded images to help you easily understand the solution.
- I’ve given notes on the optimal zone order path to take, but the addon is flexible and allows you to choose whatever route you prefer.
- The Adventure Mode section contains a detailed breakdown of the current popular alt leveling methods, and this will be expanded in the future.
