What Happens When You Put 40 Rogues in a Blender? Rextroy Finds Out!

Emma's Avatar by Emma

Rextroy is back at it again with another 40 vs 40! This time, it’s Warriors against Rogues. Initial opinion favoured the Rogues—how could they not win with so many stuns? Using the same ruleset as always, one side quickly asserted dominance.

The Rules

  • The victor is decided after the best of 5 rounds
  • All players must stay within the Field of Strife
  • No resurrecting until the current round ends

Round One

The Warriors went on a killing spree—the complete opposite to most initial opinions. The Rogues only managed to kill one Warrior before Bladestorm iconBladestorm defeated them.

Warrior deaths = 1, Rogue deaths = 40

Round Two

Round Two was much more balanced. The Rogues attempted to split up the Warrior group, with their main force attacking from behind. The Rogues had issues resetting with Vanish iconVanish, as the Warrior bleeds forced them out of stealth. Round Two’s attempt worked much better for the Rogues, but still not well enough to defeat the Warriors.

Warrior deaths = 16, Rogue deaths = 40

Round Three

Round Three saw no change. Rogue coordination was not optimal. In Rextroy’s opinion, too many Rogues focused the Protection Warriors, leaving the DPS specs alive and able to slaughter.

Warrior deaths = 3, Rogue deaths = 40

Round Four (Bonus Round)

In an attempt to even the playing field, the bonus round saw the Warriors spreading out. But even without the huge AoE from Bladestorm iconBladestorm, the Rogues only managed to make 11 kills.

Warrior deaths = 11, Rogue deaths = 40
