There’s 55 more days of Remix left to go, and the final phase only launched a week ago, but players have been sitting at the Infinite Power cap for quite a while now. And no, we’re not talking about “only” the 999 ranks of the “infinite” artifact trait, this is the currency cap of 99 million!
To Infinity and Way Beyond
Let’s first get a baseline of the numbers we’re talking about here. To unlock the “infinite” 
Limits Unbound artifact trait, you’ll need a paltry 117,000 Infinite Power. From there the numbers escalate significantly, as each of the 999 ranks costs 50,000. That comes out to a breezy 49,950,000 IP to get all the benefits of the node. That brings us to a total of 50,067,000 from start to finish for the artifact on one character. But if you continue playing after that, you’ll accumulate more IP!
For plenty of players in Remix, even that 50 million number is a joke, and today we have one that shared their number! RebornThruViolence managed to reach the 99,999,999 cap of Infinite Power. They’re not the first to do so, and there have been plenty of players getting there sooner (the players running the 150+ Mythic+ keys come to mind), but we thought we’d cover it anyway as it’s an astounding number to see!
That’s… quite a number. The spec is Havoc Demon Hunter, of course, which makes sense as they make up around 25% of the Remix population. Once you reach the maximum 740 item level and stack up that Infinite Knowledge, especially with a top spec like Havoc, the Infinite Power comes flowing in pretty quickly from Mythic raids and dungeons. But still, getting to the 100 million minus one cap is still pretty crazy.
