Blizzard have shared a post on what players should get done before Midnight arrives on March 2nd! From War Within raid achievements and mounts to dungeons (with a whole lot of Tazavesh), Delve Nemesis achievements and currencies, and of course the pre-patch event itself with its set of rewards, there’s a lot going away, and it’s going away soon!
As World of Warcraft: The War Within reaches its zenith, we’re getting ready to turn the page to the next chapter: Midnight. Before your adventure moves forward, now’s the perfect time to wrap up activities around Khaz Algar—especially those rewards and achievements that either go away or become much harder to earn once the expansion content update launches worldwide on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 pm PST.
The War Within Season 3
Raids
When Midnight launches, several raid rewards will either no longer be attainable or will become more difficult to earn:
- Dimensius, the All-Devouring
- The Royal Voidwing mount from Heroic Dimensius will no longer be obtainable.
- The Unbound Star-Eater mount from Mythic Manaforge Omega will have its drop rate significantly reduced.
Dungeons
Once Midnight arrives, the following achievements, rewards, and teleports from The War Within Season 3 will no longer be available:
- Hard Mode: Tazavesh, The Veiled Market Achievement
- Defeat So’leah in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market on Hard Mode during The War Within Season 3.
- Flawless Transaction Achievement
- Within a single lockout, defeat all bosses in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market without any player dying on Hard Mode during The War Within Season 3.
- The Unbound Dungeon Master Achievement
- Within a single lockout, defeat all bosses in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market without any player dying on Hard Mode during The War Within Season 3.
- Criteria: The Unbound Tank, The Unbound Healer, The Unbound Damage Dealer
- Reward: “Triple Threat” title
- The War Within Keystone Explorer: Season Three Achievement
- Complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time limit during The War Within Season 3.
- The War Within Keystone Conqueror: Season Three Achievement
- Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 1,500 during The War Within Season 3. Rewards “the Unbound” title.
- The War Within Keystone Master: Season Three Achievement
- Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2,000 during The War Within Season 3.
- Reward: Azure Void Flyer mount. Earning this achievement will also provide you with one Matrix Catalyst charge.
- The War Within Keystone Hero: Season Three Achievement
- Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2,500 during The War Within Season 3.
- The War Within Season 3: Resilient Keystone 12 (and above) Achievement
- Complete all Mythic+ dungeons within the time limit at keystone level 12 during The War Within Season Three.
- Season 3 Keystone Dungeon Teleports
- Earned for each dungeon by completing a +10 or higher in that dungeon.
- Dungeons include Ara-Kara, the Dawnbreaker, Eco-Dome Al’dani, Halls of Atonement, Operation: Floodgate, Priory of the Sacred Flame, and Tazavesh, the Veiled Market.
Delves
At the conclusion of The War Within Season 3’s Delver’s Journey, the following will no longer be available:
Achievements
- My Stab-Happy Nemesis
- Defeat Nexus-Princess Ky’veza in her lair before the release of the next season of delves.
- Hal’hadar’s Phasebound Visor will have its drop rate significantly reduced when the achievement goes away (was guaranteed).
- Let Me Solo Her: Nexus-Princess Ky’veza
- Defeat Nexus-Princess Ky’veza in her lair on Tier ?? without any other players in your party, before the release of the next season of delves.
- Delver’s Mana Skimmer Schematic: Hyperdrive will have its drop rate significantly reduced when the achievement goes away (was guaranteed).
- Pruning the Princess
- Defeat Nexus-Princess Ky’veza in her lair on Tier ?? before the release of the next season of delves.
- Reward: “Contract Killer” title
Delve Currencies
With the launch of Midnight:
- Seasonal delve currencies—Undercoin, Restored Coffer Keys, Untainted Mana‑Crystals—will be converted into Resonance Crystals.
- Items formerly purchased with Undercoin will move to Reno Jackson in Dornogal for Resonance Crystals.
- Delver’s Journey rewards will also be available through Reno for Resonance Crystals.
The Winds of Mysterious Blow Away February 22
Make the most of this limited-time event! The Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff grants a 20% experience increase, plus satchels filled with valuable items—perfect for leveling alts, finishing old content, or preparing for Midnight. This buff also provides +50% reputation gain to all factions worldwide.

Twilight Ascension Pre-Expansion Event Ends March 2
Face the memories of Azeroth in the Radiant Echoes event and gather Residual Memories to purchase new additions for your Warband. To begin your journey, Alliance players should meet with Magister Umbric in Stormwind, and Horde players should meet Grand Magister Rommath in Orgrimmar.
When: January 27 – March 2
Where: Twilight Highlands
Currency: Twilight Blade Insignia
Levels: 10+
Any Housing Décor introduced during the event will be purchasable from Dethelin in Silvermoon once Midnight launches. Remaining Twilight Blade Insignias will convert to Resonance Crystals.
