Blizzard added a little nugget for those competitive Delves among you! It seems Season 3 will be hosting a bit of a race between factions when it launches. There aren’t too many details on the whole thing, but players will be competing to get their faction to complete the most Delves. From the wording below it sounds like there’s a preset goal of completed Delves, and whichever faction gets there first wins. The reward is a faction banner at the delver’s headquarters in Dornogal. Both factions will also unlock some new 
Delver’s Dirigible colors and emblems, regardless of who wins!
And if that wasn’t enough good news, the underwater Delves are also getting drained!
The Delver’s Race has begun. Horde and Alliance compete head-to-head on which faction can complete the most delves in Season 3. The faction that reaches the goal first will have their faction’s banner planted permanently in Dornogal’s Delver’s Headquarters. When each faction reaches this milestone, players will be awarded with Horde and Alliance themed paint colors and emblems for the Delver’s Dirgible mount no matter who finishes first.
