Blizzard revealed Diablo 4’s upcoming expansion, and it brings some goodies for WoW players as well!
Players pre-purchasing any edition of the Lord of Hatred will receive three housing decor items. A very Diablo chest, a creepy Wolphisto rug, and a functional chess set, which looks to be potentially pretty big if scaled up!
Hell has never felt so at home. Stock your furnishings for Housing in World of Warcraft®: Midnight with decor so devilish it would meet the Blessed Mother’s approval. Pre-order Lord of Hatred to receive three different pieces of Housing Decor in World of Warcraft, including a Wolphisto rug to adorn your fireplace with Prime Evil splendor.
These items also include a functional chessboard, which evokes from Sanctuary’s far reaches.
Blizzard also had an update on how the decor will show up in the game, as it’s a little strange. The chess set in particular will arrive in the mail or bags of the first character on the account with the D4 expansion pre-ordered.
Heads up! Some of the décor rewards you may have earned by pre-purchasing the Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion are automatically added to your collection, while some are not.
Specifically, the three promotional items that make up the Chess Set décor (chess pieces, chess board, and game in progress sign) will appear in the bags or in-game mail for players who qualify to receive them.
Please note: starting tomorrow, the chess set décor will be added to the bags of the first WoW character you log into after you’ve qualified for the promotion. If your bags are full these will be mailed to that character. You will not receive them on any other characters.
