Housing has started moving to the next level, as we enter meme territory. The Xal’atath, uh, let’s call it “appreciation”, has seeped into the player home department! And while we’ve seen plenty of players use the Epic edition painting to do… various things in their homes, this one truly is special.
It’s a Foot. No, Really
Khallthas took their admiration of the Worldsoul Saga’s villain all the way to the top and made their house based on the Void entity’s most prominent feature. In case you missed the “trend”, early War Within cinematics had quite a few shots focusing on Xal’atath’s feet, which the community quickly turned into a meme. The movement reached its zenith with a macro that has her feet permanently present on your screen. But today we have a significantly bigger tribute to deal with.
That sure is… a house. But Khallthas isn’t the only one taking it up a notch from the simple chair + painting setup. Dipandots7 made their tribute more private, as they made an altar inside their house.
Aside from the usual Tarantino jokes, there’s not much more to say here. It will be interesting to see how things develop in Khallthas’ neighborhood, to be sure, as many HMO issues are just starting.
