WoW Housing Lets You Break the 200% Size Limit on Decor

As housing gets fully underway, Reddit user Zeeebro accidentally discovered that some items will break the scale in terms of size, scaling past 200%!

Here’s How to Do It

1. Select the decor you’d like to scale
2. Make sure it’s in the right spot – moving it can cause it to shrink back down to 200%
3. Open up advanced mode
4. Use the default keybindings for scaling.

We aren’t sure if this is a bug or not, and through testing, it isn’t consistent per item. Some items can scale really high, while others only go a bit past 200%. In our limited testing, anything classified as a bush would scale past the 200% mark, and some types of ground covers. The bushes found at Razorwind Shores and Founder’s Point, like the Hardy Razorwind Grass Patch, Elwynn Whitebrush, and Small Boxwood Bush, all worked. We found that large foliage such as trees will not scale past the 200% mark.

Why The Trick Matters

This trick is a great way to save yourself some decor points outside. With the increase in outdoor decor points on the weekly reset, this will give you even more room to customize outside. Players have shown high levels of creativity already creating titans, airships, and getting their houses to walk. Every point can matter when it comes to pushing the limits on creativity.
