Fastest Way to Complete Saltheril’s Soiree Cleanup in WoW Midnight

The Saltheril’s Soiree Cleanup bonus quest in Eversong Woods can feel a bit messy at first. If you run around randomly, it takes way longer than it should. However, once you know where to go, though, you can finish it very quickly and grab your 25 Brimming Arcana without wasting time.

Focus on the Right Spots

Most of the progress comes from a few areas, so you do not need to search the entire zone.

Ideally, you should simply stick to:

• The building behind Lord Saltheril
• The pagoda area
• The grass west of the building

These spots contain almost everything you need.

All Item and Interaction Locations

Each of the following actions fills 20% of the bar, so you only need five total. These are all one-time interactions per week:

• Song Choice
  Talk to Talenia Flamesong in the back of the building behind Lord Saltheril and pick a song.
• Farstrider Arrow
  One is stuck in the archery target east of Ranger-Captain Dawnfletch, another in a tree to the south.
• Runaway Tome
  Use /tar runa to target the tome quickly. Two are usually active at once, but you can only click one. Can be found upstairs in the building and on the grass to the west.
• Irritated Noble
  Pick up a Wine Glass from any table and hand it to an Irritated Noble. The dialogue choice does not matter.

• Marked Card
  One is directly west of Dawnfletch in front of a black cushion on the right side of the carpet. A second is upstairs in the main building near the wardrobe.
• Decorative Shield
  Found inside the building behind Lord Saltheril, around the 10 o’clock position, upstairs in that same building, or on a pagoda pillar behind Caeris Fairdawn.
• Unlit Lantern
  Near the fountain, hard to miss.

Keep in mind that not everything you see can be used.
Some items, like certain wine glasses on counters, cannot be interacted with. If nothing happens when you click something, just move on.

Most of these interactions count as one-time actions per week, and each one fills a large part of the bar. So instead of repeating the same action, focus on hitting as many different ones as possible.

Fastest Method in Short

If you just want the quickest route:

• use /tar runa to grab a tome
• give a Wine Glass to an Irritated Noble
• pick a song in the main building
• grab 1–2 nearby items (cards, shield, arrow)

That is usually enough to finish the bar in just a few minutes.

Do This While Completing the Weekly

The best way to do the bonus quest is to complete it at the same time as the main weekly.

So, if you are also working on the main weekly quest Fortify the Runestones, stay close to the Runestones while cleaning up. You can knock out both at the same time without much extra effort.
