The Patch 12.1 PTR has introduced some new (ish) loading screens for Midnight zones!
Up until now, the new Eastern Kingdoms zone art had been used for Midnight’s zones. However, with the latest PTR build, those have now been replaced by the familiar Midnight pre-expansion key art, bringing the loading screens more in line with Blizzard’s promotional material for the expansion.
This change only affects the loading screens used when entering Midnight’s outdoor zones. Instanced content will continue to use unique loading screens, meaning those themed artworks will remain unchanged.
