With Midnight Season 2, we have seen ongoing issues with the 
Spark of Tides crafting reagent. From players receiving extra Sparks, which resulted in a hotfix increasing the cap for Week 1 of the season, the most recent issue this week was that players who were brought up to the Spark cap were not receiving additional Sparks. This
Since last night, players affected by the latter bug started receiving their missing Sparks, and today Blizzard released a blue post mentioning the action, as well as announcing that players still affected by the bug should expect fixes throughout the week.
Fixing Misplaced Sparks of Tides – August 25
During scheduled weekly maintenance this morning, we addressed issues affecting players who were missing Spark of Tides items.
Additional cleanup waves will happen throughout the week, which will resolve some rare cases in which players who were accidentally granted Sparks over the cap. Those players may have some removed.
