While the addon apocalypse may have heavily affected the combat side of things, player creativity in the space is alive and well! One player demonstrated just that and then some! This new addon lets you grow your own murloc from an egg, caring for it from the get-go!
Murloc Minder
Kagrok shared their addon creation recently, as Murloc Minder allows you to, well, mind a murloc! You’ll start with an egg and do various challenges to help it hatch. Then when it does, you get a murloc of your very own, with its own personality and needs!
Each murloc will get its own quirks you need to take care of, and they even have a rarity system ranging from uncommon to legendary! You’ll be feeding your little mrrgl, playing with it, and resting, and there’s even an internal currency you can earn to buy it snacks and such! The murloc itself can also go out and scavenge for items and currency to take care of its needs, and you can even get some items that re-roll its traits.
The addon is still in its early stages, with Kagrok asking for feedback and working on new versions all the time. Here are the key features listed on the CurseForge page:
