WoW Players Think This New Quest Gives Hero Gear. There’s a Catch

The weekly reset has happened on NA realms, and some players noticed a new weekly quest that potentially offers Hero-level gear for participating in PvP.

However, you will not receive this piece of gear this week. The quest is part of a multi-week quest chain meant to introduce you to PvP.

PvP Weekly is a Four-Week Long Questline For Hero Gear

The first quest of the PvP weekly went live this week with Early Morning Training. This quest requires you to participate in three Battlegrounds and can be completed in the Training Grounds mode. You might be tempted to do this quest because it says it will award you with a Hero piece of gear.

Completing the quest offered this week will reward you with only a Novice Combatant's Medallion iconNovice Combatant’s Medallion. At quest completion, Aethas Sunreaver will tell you to return next week for “more training”.

Return next week for more.

The quest rewards do mention that you will receive the Hero piece reward at the end of the questline. There are three more quests in the chain, each offering different, PvP-oriented rewards:

  • Late Night Training gives you a choice of throughput PvP trinkets.
  • Midnight Training gives you a PvP cloak.
  • And finally, Final Training offers you a choice of a Hero-level PvP Necklace or Ring.

With one quest being offered every week, the earliest you are able to obtain said Hero piece is by the week of March 31. It is currently unknown whether we will receive a PvP training quest every week, so this could potentially take even longer.

Now that you know how this questline works, will you complete it?
