It’s back! Or, well, it never left. The raid Renown bug rears its ugly head once again as players are stuck in the Manaforge Vandals track this time around.

We saw many reports of the problem, player Renown getting stuck at various points, but mostly 2499/2500, in Liberation of Undermine. Blizzard addressed the problem once, but it persisted for some. After it returned, there were no more fixes coming, setting players back one Renown rank. And it seems to be permanent too! Add to that the Manaforge Vandals last rank granting another 3% raid damage buff, and you have yourself an even bigger problem! Deskcord spotted the issue and has been talking about it for a while now, as they were affected by it in the last raid as well!
Solutions? Maybe.
There are no definitive answers to be had here. Some players managed to work around the issue by grabbing the Darkmoon Faire reputation buff. However, they still had to wait until the faire was around to do it. And it’s not guaranteed to work either, as it helped some but not others last tier. But, if you’re affected by the issue and want to try: when the Darkmoon Faire is around, grab the buff on reset day before going into the raid, and then clear it as usual. It should offset the 1 missing rep.
Some players found an even easier fix, by simply removing all addons and then getting some reputation after that. Again, it’s not a guarantee, but it might work.
