Herbgolem No More
The legendary 
Sky Golem engineering-made mount is one of the most used ones of all time. Its feature to be able to harvest herbs while mounted was one of a kind. Players spotted the issue back with the start of the pre-patch, but it seemed like a mere oversight or bug (as it’s happened before). With Midnight basically being live now, it’s not looking good for the mount.
Originally spotted by Intelligent_Rub9924 back at the very start of the pre-patch, it’s looking more and more like the golem being made plain was intentional, or at the very least a bug that won’t be addressed any time soon. This leaves only Druid flight form as the default herbalism gathering option.
Now, of course, players can get mounted gathering for all mounts from profession talents. However, that doesn’t work in pre-Dragonflight expansions. There are some workarounds like the Battle for Azeroth mount gear to remedy this, but it’s still an issue for most content.
Hopefully, this is just a very, very long case of an unaddressed bug. But with the start of an expansion being the most important period for gathering professions, this will really pigeonhole a lot of players into Druid. Let’s hope the full release of Midnight has some good news for us!
