We’re looking to expand our news coverage here on Icy Veins and The Sims Resource. If you’re passionate about gaming and want to cover the latest news, this may be your chance to become one of us!


What We Offer

You’ll get to work with a team of experienced writers, learn from people who’ve been doing this a long time, and sharpen your skills along the way. If you’re passionate about games and want to level up your writing, this is s solid place to start.

These are paid roles (with the potential to turn into full-time work depending on your availability).


Who We’re Looking For

  • You have excellent written English. You don’t need to be a native speaker, but you should write fluently and clearly.
  • A background in journalism is a big plus.
  • You need to be able to absorb constructive feedback and improve upon it.
  • You know how to organize your thoughts and explain things well. Ideally, you’ve written guides before.
  • You’ve spent a lot of time playing the games you want to cover.
  • Active in a gaming community? This could be a great way to turn that into something more.
  • We’re especially interested in writers who can cover multiple games and handle both news and guides.
