Zenless Zone Zero’s first summer update added the Fantasy Resort area, complete with sun, sea and seaside shops. Shortly after the patch went live, players began sharing clips of a peculiar graphical glitch: when you position the camera behind a particular stall’s window, the game strips away the semi‑transparent textures on character outfits. The bug does not permanently alter the models, but it allows players to see characters without specific fabrics or tinted goggles for as long as the camera remains aligned with the window.
While many players focused their attention on Belle, whose summer outfit features the largest piece of semi-transparent piece of clothing in the game. Players also noticed that other agents with transparent clothing and accessories are also impacted by the glitch. Such as Soldier 11’s glasses being invisible which allows you to see her true face for once.

Other examples include part of Yixuan’s alternate skin and Evelyn’s outfit too:
How Does This Glitch Work?
Players have likened the phenomenon to similar bugs in other games which can be an issue with 3D rendering when 2 transparent objects overlap. Because it does not grant any gameplay advantage or persist outside the window, many consider it a harmless curiosity. Others also mention how it would be cool to have this return as more of a “feature”, such as allowing us to take off the glasses of Soldier 11 or customize the proxies outfits further on top of the recently added accessories.
Regardless of one’s stance, the transparent‑window bug highlights how complex rendering systems can produce unintended, and sometimes amusing, results. HoYoverse has not commented on the issue, and there are comments on this bug potentially already being fixed.
