Arknights: Endfield Early Tier List – Who Are the Best Operators?

With Arknights: Endfield launching tomorrow, you might want to know who the best Operator is at release.

As with most games at launch, the answer is not as simple as “pick S-tier and win.” Team composition, role, and the gameplay you like matter just as much as raw power. Still, having a general overview helps everyone understand where each operator currently stands.

To answer that, our team put together an early Arknights: Endfield tier list, based on hands-on experience and how characters perform in real gameplay situations.

How This Early Tier List Was Built

Instead of ranking everyone in a single list, characters are grouped by role to separate DPS Operators and more utility-focused Operators.

• DPS, focused on dealing damage and clearing enemies
• Utility, focused on support like buffs, healing, control, or resource generation

From there, they are ranked from S to C tier, based on:

• Overall impact in combat
• How flexible their kit is
• How well they perform without heavy investment
• How easy they are to slot into different teams

Because Endfield’s kits are highly specialized, direct one-to-one comparisons are rare. A lower-tier character is not “bad,” but just more situational or harder to use optimally.

Early Standouts at Launch

Even if we are early, a few operators clearly stand out, such as Laevatain or Ardelia!

Some characters offer strong damage output with minimal setup, making them excellent picks for early and mid-game progression. Others are perfect supports, providing team-wide buffs that remain useful even in harder content.

That said, every operator currently available is capable of clearing content with the right team and strategy, so if you just want to pick the one operator you really like, you should definitely do so!
