Arknights: Endfield Tier List and Best Character Rankings
Welcome to our comprehensive Arknights: Endfield Tier List, where we break down the best characters to help you conquer Talos-II's toughest challenges. Our Tier List will rank each character based on their performance in various roles.
Arknights: Endfield Tier List
Our Tier List for Arknights: Endfield separates characters distinctly into two roles: DPS and Utility. Please click their icons inside of our Tier List to view their Character Build Guides!
While Tier Lists are great for getting some general insight at a glance, they don't give a complete story. Each of these Operators has been an outstanding asset to Endfield Industries. Each and every one of them is capable of completing the mission at hand, and they're all capable of shining bright with the right team. So, don't go disregarding your favorites just because they appear low on this Tier List. Give them a spin!
Tierlist Changes for Typhoeus's Release
Typhon from the original Arknights title has reconvened into Endfield as Typhoeus! Unlike her original self, she's not quite the nuker that she was in the original, with most of her kit being designed around thematically evoking her OG Arknights version. Her damage ceiling isn't as high as some other main DPS characters, and while she is a great AoE DPS, as a Nature DPS has has some fierce competition.
There's almost a conflict of interest when it comes to using her with Arcane as well, as the typical Corrosion IV strategy with Arcane gets difficult to squeeze in, and Typhoeus wants to eat Nature Infliction stacks as much as she can. Her damage output doesn't quite compare to Arcane on Array Arcana: INT. On the flip side, while her skills are just Basic Attack enhancers, she doesn't take command as your Active Character, and will simply do the basic attacks herself, so she is easy to slot in as a secondary DPS.
Operator Liino enters the tierlist at the A tier. She grants a big damage buff and healing simply by existing as part of your team, but she's the first operator to not be directly playable. Liino is designed to be in her Stances at all times, and during these stances, she can't use her Basic Attack at all. No Final Striking, no Dive Attacking, nothing. In exchange, you got some solid damage buffs that are best used by Electric and Nature teams.
Tier List Explanations and Ranking Criteria
Our Tier List for Arknights: Endfield groups characters into two main categories: DPS and Utility.
- DPS: Characters in this category of our Tier List focus on dealing damage. They may dabble in various utilities, but they're here to lay the smack down.
- Utility: Characters in this category of our Tier List focus on some kind of support features, such as team damage buffs, team damage resistance, team healing, and SP generation.
Internally, these characters are then ranked S through C based on various criteria, offered features, and engagement level of their kits. However, it's noted that there's extremely little overlap between any two characters and their kits, so it's difficult to draw a direct comparison, or explicitly state one character's kit is better than another's for all situations.
