Now that the test phase for Diablo 4’s Season 11 has officially ended, the community has started sharing early impressions, and they are far from unanimous.
The upcoming season introduces Divine Gifts, a new power system meant to change gameplay, and some players feel that Season 11 might not reach the same level of build creativity as Season 10.
Players Miss Chaos Armor’s Freedom

One of the main concerns voiced on social media is the loss of Chaos Armor. It was probably the most popular mechanic since the game’s launch, and it just does not feel the same without it. Chaos Armor allowed for a level of build diversity we had never seen before, and removing it brings things back to the same few familiar setups.
The system allowed players to experiment with new stat combinations and reach massive damage numbers. But as with most seasonal features in Diablo 4, it was temporary, and it will retire with the end of Season 10.
For many, that is the downside of Blizzard’s rotating seasonal systems. The most creative ideas are removed just when players get comfortable with them.
Can Divine Gifts Fill the Void?

On top of the massive changes that come with Season 11, we also get the new Divine Gifts powers. After the PTR, players are hoping that those will also provide with new build diversity when Season 11 officially launches in early December. However, many in the community remain cautious. It is still uncertain if those new powers will offer enough to replace what Chaos Armor brought to the table.
With expectations high after a well-received Season 10, Season 11 has a lot to prove! Not just in terms of balance, but in keeping Diablo 4’s build variety alive.
Enjoy the Chaos Armor until December 9, 2025, when Season 11 should start! And get yourself ready to test the new Divine Powers on your builds!
