Diablo 4 Patch 2.4.1 Brings Back the Aspect of Wildrage


<p><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/runewords-guide/#runewords_list" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Legendary Runes</a> are one of the most important crafting resources in Diablo 4, but their drop rate is very low, especially if you are farming random mobs or Lair Bosses. Luckily, there is a much faster and more reliable method! We are talking about farming Tributes of Harmony and using them at the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/kurast-undercity-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kurast Undercity</a> brazier.</p>



<p>This approach not only increases how many runes you get overall but also provides the best chance to obtain Legendary-quality runes consistently.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Best Method: Tributes of Harmony</h2>



<p>The Kurast Undercity brazier is the key to farming runes efficiently. It is important to remember that Runes are only accessible if you have the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/vessel-of-hatred-overview/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vessel of Hatred</a> expansion.</p>



<p>Here is how it works:</p>



<ol>
<li><strong>Gather Tributes of Harmony</strong> from:
<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/the-pit-of-the-artificers-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Pit</a> (chance from the final boss)</li>



<li><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tree-of-whispers-guide/#rewards" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Whisper Caches</a> (with the Dungeon Keys Cache reward on Torment IV)</li>



<li>Glittering Prims (Treasure Goblins) &#8211; guaranteed multiple Tributes on Torment IV.</li>
</ul>
</li>



<li><strong>Use those Tributes </strong>at the Kurast brazier to obtain Runes at the end of the run.</li>



<li><strong>Defeat the final boss</strong> for a big pile of runes, including rare and legendary ones.</li>
</ol>

<p>If you do not have any of those Tributes, you can still run Kurast Undercity with another Tribute or use someone else&#8217;s, but the boss will drop fewer runes overall, and the chance for a legendary is much lower.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Other Farming Options (Less Efficient)</h2>



<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/lair-boss-system-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lair Bosses</a> on Torment IV can drop 1 or 2 runes each run, but it is slow and costs a lot of materials.</li>



<li>Buying runes with gold or trading for items from other players.</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hidden Trick: Transmuting Runes</h2>



<p>If you are drowning in rare runes, head to the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/jeweler-guide/#runecrafting" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jeweler</a>:</p>



<ul>
<li>Combine three identical rare runes to create a new random rune.</li>



<li>There is a 15% chance it instead becomes a random legendary rune.</li>



<li>The more you transmute, the higher your odds get in theory.</li>
</ul>



<p>This method works great as a supplement to Tribute farming, because you will eventually have too many rare runes, and then it is just a good way to turn your excess rares into potential legendaries.</p>

<p>However, if you are chasing those orange-glow rune icons, the Tribute farming method is hands down the most time-efficient method in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 Season</a> 10. You can also run it in a group if you want your sessions to be even faster.</p>

Is This the Fastest Way to Get Legendary Runes in Diablo 4?


<p>&#8220;<em>It&#8217;s been 84 years,</em>&#8221; said Blizzard&#8217;s Community Manager in their latest comment on the forum, and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 players felt that one</a>.</p>

<p>After waiting a very long time, the missing <strong>Hateful Stone</strong> <strong>mount trophy</strong> is finally getting fixed in Patch 2.4.1, according to a quick update shared on the official forums.</p>



<p>For those who do not know, this trophy is technically rewarded for achieving Paragon 300, and until now it did not appear in the player&#8217;s Stable.</p>



<p>The post did not go unnoticed, both for the fact it is indeed very meme-worthy, and for the follow-up question: <em>&#8220;Which other cosmetics are still missing?</em>&#8220;, hinting that Blizzard might be preparing to review other bugged or unobtainable items too. </p>



<p>We know there was the Season 9&#8217;s Goat pet that was missing from some inventories, so that might be fixed in the upcoming patches as well. Comments also hint at previous seasonal cosmetics missing, so hopefully they can all be found soon again!</p>

Diablo 4 CM Breaks Silence with Meme-Level Update on Missing Trophy


<p>As Patch 2.4.1 rolls out today, Diablo 4 community director Adam Fletcher shared a new post on social media (X/Twitter) to give players a quick update – and tease what is next.</p>



<p>He confirmed that the new patch will go live later today and mentioned that PTR previews are coming soon.</p>

<p>The upcoming Public Test Realm will apparently arrive <strong>earlier than usual</strong> and focus on major balance and system reworks. Fletcher called it an &#8220;important PTR&#8221; where the team hopes to collect plenty of player feedback before the next season begins.</p>



<p>He also responded to a player asking about the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/reliquaries-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reliquary system</a>, confirming that Blizzard has been meeting about it again in recent weeks.</p>

These upgraded versions of existing Uniques can drop in any gear slot, always roll perfect stats, and include at least one Greater Affix, making them the ultimate goal for any <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tier-lists" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">top tier build</a>. </p>



<p>The problem is that random <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-armor-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Armor drops</a> are painfully rare. But players have found one reliable method that turns Chaos Armor into consistent rewards! We are talking about reputation farming with the help of blessings.</p>

<li>This guarantees one Chaos Armor piece from every Greater Infernal Cache.</li>
</ul>
</li>



<li>Level up the Urn of Reputation next for +20% faster rep gain.</li>



<li>Optionally, put extra points into Urn of Chaos Nightmares for more Chaos Rift sigils (and Warp farming).</li>
</ul>



<p>You can even respec your <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/season-blessings-in-diablo-4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Seasonal Blessings</a> before opening caches by just moving your points into the Chaos Armor Urn temporarily for a free guaranteed drop each time. Of course, if your journey is completed already, you should have all blessings maxed out.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Farming Loop</h2>



<p>The fastest and most consistent way to get Chaos Armor right now is the <strong>reputation loop</strong>:</p>



<ul>
<li>Farm <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Rifts</a> and Helltides in order to collect Infernal Warp.</li>



<li>Trade Warp for Donation Scrolls at the vendor in Ylesna (near the rep board).</li>



<li>Use the scrolls to earn reputation.</li>



<li>At 110,000 reputation, claim a Greater Infernal Cache for a guaranteed Chaos Armor drop </li>



<li>You can repeat the loop endlessly, there is no resource cap or anything.</li>
</ul>



<p>Most efficient players report 3 to 4 Chaos Armors per hour using this method.</p>

<p>Keep also in mind that Torment III is often the best tier to farm in. It is the sweet spot for most builds with the best efficiency without excessive deaths. Torment IV gives more drops and Bartuc guarantees, but only if your build is strong enough. If not, you will lose time.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Tips to Boost Efficiency</strong></h3>



<ul>
<li>Stack 15 to 30% Movement Speed and Cooldown Reduction for better and faster clears</li>



<li>Prioritize AoE damage to clear dense packs faster</li>



<li>Test builds in lower-tier Helltides before pushing Torment III+</li>



<li>Use Elixirs and Incense for buffs you will actually feel, not just a random one for bonus XP</li>



<li><strong>Avoid These Mistakes</strong>
<ul>
<li>Opening caches before maxing Urn of Chaos Armor.</li>



<li>Ignoring the purple buff in Chaos Rifts.</li>



<li>Farming Torment tiers that take too long for your build.</li>



<li>Hoarding Warp instead of turning it in for scrolls.</li>

<p>If you are still farming Chaos Armor the old-fashioned way, stop. The Reputation farming loop is currently the most efficient method in Diablo 4 Season 10, giving you 3-4 guaranteed Chaos Armors per hour with less frustration. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Case Against Them</h2>



<p>Players point out that Strongroom tiers are harder this season, especially hitting Tier 5 and Tier 6. Even those who farmed T6 regularly before are now struggling, making the end chests feel like a poor time investment. Clearing higher tiers now depends a lot on early luck with shrine effects or strong idol setups.</p>



<p>Loot at the top also feels reduced, and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/nightmare-dungeon-guide/#escalating_nightmares_" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Escalation keys</a> seem to drop far less often than before, even from Nightmare Dungeons. Overall, the grind just does not feel worth the effort right now.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why You Might Still Want to Run Them</h2>



<ul>
<li>They still drop plenty of mats and gold if you just want steady progress.</li>



<li>You can still get Chaos-affixed keys from them, which means bonus rifts and a bit of extra fun.</li>



<li><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/astaroth-boss-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Astaroth</a> still drops decent loot, so it is not a complete waste of time.</li>



<li>If you want to hit higher tiers faster, skip the shrines and go straight for pillars.</li>



<li><strong>Change of Pace: </strong>If you are burned out grinding Hordes, these are a good break while still making progress.</li>
</ul>



<p>No, Escalating Dungeons are not the most efficient activity in Season 10. But if you enjoy the challenge, find a <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/chaos-rifts-guide/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Rift</a> key, or just need a different grind for a bit, they are still worth keeping on your rotation.</p>



<p>With this in mind, however, many players feel Blizzard keeps sidelining older systems whenever new ones arrive, instead of letting them stay relevant – and Escalating Dungeons are the latest example.</p>


Are Escalating Dungeons Still Worth It in Diablo 4 Season 10?


<p>Most players focused on Soulspires finally behaving properly, but <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Blizzard&#8217;s latest Diablo 4 patch</a> actually included some smaller but very welcome changes for a few popular builds, especially <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/sorcerer/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sorcerers</a>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Smoother Crackling Energy for Sorcerers</h2>

Previously, if you attacked fast enough, Crackling Energy orbs could get consumed incorrectly, leading to sudden energy drops.</p>

<p>Even without massive new features, these kinds of small patches tend to feel really good. Sorcerers in particular benefit from smoother gameplay like that, and that is always great news for players grinding through <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/infernal-hordes-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Infernal Hordes</a> or bosses!</p>


Why Diablo 4’s Last Patch Quietly Improved Crackling Energy

Turns out, some of them can seriously improve your gameplay experience, or even help with your farming efficiency. </p>

<p>Chaos Rifts have directly gained a lot of love for being short, rewarding, and fitting smoothly into any regular gameplay loop. They do not feel like an interruption, but it is more like an exciting surprise that pops up when you are farming, and spices things up a bit. On top of that, they actually feel rewarding, and that makes them extra satisfying.</p>

<li><strong>Chaos-Infused Bosses</strong> &#8211; Bosses with random modifiers that have a higher chance to drop a mythic item or Greater Affixes.</li>



<li><strong>Tribute Mechanics</strong> &#8211; Spend resources or specific items at an Altar before the fight, to guarantee specific drops.</li>



<li><strong>Goblins &#8211;</strong> More special mobs like Goblins that appear during World Boss fights and always drop Greater Affixes or something like that.</li>



<li><strong>Hardcore Mode Variant</strong> &#8211; Get kicked out on death, but loot quality is buffed.</li>



<li><strong>Specific Loot</strong> &#8211; Outside of Chaos Armor, some players would love to see specific new unique items being dropped only by World Bosses, making them more worthy.</li>
