Hotfix for Lost Potent Bloods Coming Tomorrow


<p>Blizzard have posted a client patch for Diablo 4 which will fix post-patch 1.2.3 issues with Paragon Glyphs. There are more fixes in the notes as well, including one for the Melted Heart of Selig Uber Unique.</p>



<p>Console players will have to wait a bit longer for the update, as it should be coming tomorrow.</p>

<li>Fixed an issue where the Tooltip for the Tears of Blood Glyph indicated that the damage bonus was additive when it was instead multiplicative.</li>

Diablo 4 Patch Notes: Paragon Glyph Issue and Heart of Selig Fixes


<p>Blizzard is aware of a bug that caused Level 21 glyphs to drop to 19 and level 15 glyphs to 14 after Patch 1.2.3 went live. A hotfix will be released later today to fix the issue.</p>



<p>With the release of Patch 1.2.3, players on the <a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/level-21-glyphs-reduced-to-19-at-aoz-launch/142160">official forums</a> have been reporting a reduction in their glyph XP.</p>

    <h3>Glyph XP Issues After Patch 1.2.3</h3>

        <p>The team has identified an issue that players are experiencing with paragon glyphs showcasing misrepresented levels from the levels achieved prior to the 1.2.3 update. We plan on addressing this on PC with a new client update that will be shipping later today. We will update players on timing of this release once available.</p>
<p>For console users, we plan on releasing an update with Xbox and PlayStation as soon as it becomes available. We will have updated timing later today.</p>
<p>Users that were max level on paragon glyph XP, you can re-level the glyphs in the meantime if you prefer until the fix is available. For those that were below the max glyph XP, you can still progress your glyphs and after the fix will have that glyph XP added to the old amounts prior to the 1.2.3 update.</p>
<p>Separately, we have seen reports from players regarding the advanced tooltip on the Tears of Blood glyph mentioning it is additive as opposed to multiplicative. This is a known issue that we noted on <a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/an-update-prior-to-123-hitting-on-december-5th/141693">Friday</a>.</p>
<p>This issue requires a client update and will also be addressed in the above fix once that patch becomes available.</p>
<p>We apologize for the issue and the inconvenience. The team is working on this as quickly as possible.</p>

Best Builds for Abbatoir of Zir in Diablo 4 Season 2


<p>Players have been having some issues with Living Steel as of late, as they&#8217;d open a Helltide chest and it would simply not be there! This includes the big Tortured Gift of Living Steel chests, which only drop the mats and elixirs.</p>



<p>As you can see below, elixirs yes, steel no! </p>

<p><br>This wasn&#8217;t the only report either, as many players have been having the same issue. Luckily for everyone, Living Steel is treated the same as a legendary drop, meaning it gets sent to your stash if not picked up! </p>



<p>Whatever the issue at hand with it just not appearing on the ground, it seems to just be a visual one, as the Living Steel does show up in your &#8220;mail&#8221; aka stash. <strong>You should keep that mail clean, however</strong>, as it does have a cap. So don&#8217;t keep too many legendaries sitting there in case this happens to you. </p>

Living Steel Disappearing in Helltides and How to Solve It


<p>Blizzard has published patch notes for the upcoming Diablo 4 Patch 1.2.3 that brings Abbatoir of Zir and Midwinter Blight! The patch is going live on December 5.</p>

        <p>A quick few notes prior to the 1.2.3 update coming to Diablo IV on Tuesday via a same day server side hotfix.</p>
<p>The Melted Heart of Selig will no longer count as the player spending resources when resource is drained from damage taken in PvP zones.</p>
<p>We are doing this because of an interaction that is causing some performance issues for players. Per our earlier commitments, we will make our best efforts to not nerf builds during the Season and we are only applying this as it is impacting player game performance.</p>
<p>For Season 3 this will be fixed for all areas outside of PvP as well.</p>
<p>Separately, when 1.2.3 hits, we will have a known issue with advanced tooltips on the Tears of Blood glyph where it will show bonuses as additive. The icon is incorrect and it is actually multiplicative. That will also be noted in the hotfix notes for Tuesday.</p>

<p>The Abattoir will be the hardest challenge you’ve seen in Season of Blood—the viscera will rain from above as you fight as fast as possible to staunch the Zir’s legions in this pinnacle dungeon. You will only have <b>10 minutes</b> to clear enough enemies to summon the final Bloodseekers, and slay them to emerge bloodstained and triumphant.</p>
<p>Upon successfully completing each tier of the Abattoir of Zir, you’ll gain a recipe to craft the next tier’s Bloodforged Sigil. Completing the first tier of Abattoir of Zir unlocks the Unique Glyph: Tears of Blood.</p>

<p>The more you thirst, the more you will understand. The Tears of Blood Glyph is essential to conquering the various profligates dwelling in the Abattoir.</p>

<p>A high price is demanded for a Glyph of such strength. The Tears of Blood Glyph requires significantly more experience to upgrade it compared to a typical Paragon Glyph. Fortunately, delving deeper into the Abattoir of Zir can net tremendous sums of Paragon Glyph experience in return.</p>
<p><b>Descend to new Depths</b></p>
<p>The first level in Abbatoir of Zir is similar in difficulty to a level 100 Nightmare Dungeon. From there, endurance and cunning must be utilized for the vampire entrails to mark the evidence of your progress. Each new tier strengthens the Monsters that await, which only increases each time you descend further into the Abattoir.</p>
<p>The Bloodforged Sigil and Abattoir of Zir both go to Level 25, each increasingly more difficult than the last. Ready yourselves wanderer, you have much to see…</p>

<p>It seems the Gauntlet leaderboards aren&#8217;t the only thing to get excited about in Diablo 4&#8217;s next weason! Blizzard announced a big change coming to Helltides in Season 3.</p>



<p>During today&#8217;s Campfire Chat, it was announced that the zone event will be active every single hour in the upcoming season. They will last 55 minutes so there will only be 5 minute breaks between them. </p>



<p>This is in part in response to recent Season 2 issues players having trouble getting Forgotten Souls, but also the longer-standing demand from players to have Helltides active longer. A large part of the reason is also the Living Steel requirements for summoning Duriel. The Living Steel mats drop from Helltide chests, and they got some <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/living-steel-drop-rates-increased-chest-spawns-fixed-november-14th-hotfix/">major buffs in a recent hotfix</a>. </p>

<li>When you reach World Tier 4, enemies will have a chance to drop 925 Item Power gear. They don&#8217;t want 925 items to only drop from Uber Duriel and world bosses.</li>



<li>Part of all of this is to find more ways to communicate the devs&#8217; intentions, they don&#8217;t want to overpromise/underdeliver, so they want to provide as many details as possible.</li>

Upcoming Dev Campfire Chat: November 30th


<p>Yes. <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Spartanjaws/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spartanjaws</a> recently gathered up all the available Uber Uniques after around 250 <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/uber-duriel-boss-guide/">Duriel </a>runs, which is pretty solid luck despite the high amount of kills. Players have been getting the rarest items in Diablo 4 at very differing rates, from two in two runs as we&#8217;ve covered before, to players going even hundreds of runs without any. The RNG gods are indeed random. </p>



<p>However, since Spartanjaws also beat Uber Lilith and probably also did a Tier 100 NMD, we&#8217;d have to say that yes, yes he did beat the game. At least for now! The Abattoir of Zir arrives in just over a week&#8217;s time on Decmber 5th. There players like Spartanjaws can really put their builds and Uber Uniques to the test with some very high difficulty content. </p>
