Diablo 4 players have discovered a strange Season 10 bug! Some enemies just do not want to be found. Instead of fighting back, they clip into walls, forcing you to waste time hunting for them before you can move forward in Nightmare Dungeons.
A lot of players reported on Reddit being stuck in a Dungeon because one enemy is hiding into the wall, and they need to kill them all:
What Is the Issue
Dungeon objectives that require you to “kill all enemies” can become impossible when a mob spawns inside a wall or outside the map.
This bug was already present a few seasons ago and seemed to have been fixed, but it looks like it is back in action for Season 10!
It happens most often near doors or small corners of the layout, where enemies sometimes backpedal too far and end up stuck. Once they are inside the wall or off the map entirely, you can not hit them with any skill, and that is especially frustrating if you are playing a melee build.
Workarounds Players Have Found
Until Blizzard patches the issue, some players have shared tips to deal with it:
- Teleport back to town and return – sometimes forces the mob to respawn.
- Run far away – enemies can eventually move out of the wall if you create enough distance, because they will want to follow you, so they just walk outside the wall.
- Clear mobs first – if there is a rift nearby, kill all the enemies you can, activate the rift, the ones stuck into the wall should then get pulled towards you when there are only a couple left.
The bug does not break the game, but it does waste precious time. Instead of grinding efficiently, you end up circling the dungeon, double-checking every corner for missing enemies.
So far, there has been no official word, but given the number of reports popping up on Reddit, it is likely on Blizzard’s radar. With Season 10 already chaotic thanks to the new Chaos mechanics, players are hoping this “hide and seek” bug will not stick around too long.
