Infernal Hordes have quickly become one of the hot topics in Diablo 4 Season 10. When those dreaded Infernal Offers show up mid-run, players are starting to agree on a clear favorite: Masses.
Why Masses Beat the Rest
Both on Reddit and in-game, players are calling Masses the go-to pick, and it is easy to see why:
- Enemies spawn right at the start of every wave
- When they die, they respawn, so the action never really slows down
- Each death also spawns Fiends or Hellborne, which means even more enemies, and more rewards
Put together, that is more enemies, more pressure, and usually better value than most of the other offers. In a mode built on stacking modifiers, this makes Masses one of the most consistent and rewarding picks you can grab.

What About Spires?
On the other hand, Spires are being avoided by most players. They were nerfed and simply do not bring the same benefit. The one exception is if you happen to get a buff that pulls enemies in, which makes them a little more useful. Outside of that niche case, though, Spires are widely considered a waste.
What to Grab, What to Skip
If you are planning to farm lots of Infernal Hordes this season, the advice is simple:
- Pick Masses whenever possible
- Use spawn-based offers like Hellborne or Fiends for extra value
- Skip Spires unless you have a specific buff that makes them worthwhile
Infernal Offers are all about picking the “lesser evil,” but Season 10’s early meta is pointing to Masses as the safest and most effective choice. If you are looking to push deeper into the Hordes, this is the option you will want to keep an eye out for. At least until Spires are ‘fixed’…
