The Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR is live, and players are already discovering some quality-of-life updates that could change how we run Nightmare Dungeons (NMDs) and manage consumables!

Whisper Indicators on Nightmare Dungeon Sigils
One of the most-requested improvements since launch is here! Active Whisper Grim objectives now show an indicator on dungeon sigils.
Before, you had to check the map to see which dungeons had active Whispers and if you had the correct sigil key. The PTR change now directly marks the active Whisper on the dungeon’s sigil. This will save a lot of time and effort.
Community reaction to this update has been largely positive, as it finally addresses a long-standing tracking problem. All you need to do now is to open your sigil inventory, and you will notice a little icon on the sigil if the dungeon is currently a whisper.
Consumables Stack Increase
PTR changes also improved stack limits for multiple consumables:
- Elixirs and Incenses can now stack up to 100 (previously 40 and 20).
- Things like
Infernal Compass also stack up to 100 (instead of 99 before).
This change was also welcome, as it reduces stash management when items can stack more.
Overall, the Season 10 PTR brings long-awaited quality-of-life improvements, and most players are happy about the change. Despite some raising concerns about stash management and optimal gameplay, most agree these changes make running dungeons much better and more convenient!
